Before the ultrasound treatment, the pool was extremely dirty and was strongly infested with Algae and aquatic life forms - beetles, worms, mosquitoes etc.
An XZ-50 unit was installed in a 60m3 swimming pool on the 29th Sep 2013. The unit was placed on a float and anchored to one corner with the transducer unit facing the water surface.
Results:
Within a few days the algae on the side of the pool was softening. After a week the pool colour looked a toxic yellow/green colour. A significant amount of muck was dredged and sucked from the pool bottom. The pool started to clean but the turbidity was still poor. The pool was chlorinated and the chemistry was adjusted to correct for Alkalinity. The pool began to clear and has remained clear ever since with minimal dosing of chlorine. The pH has not moved and the only requirement is to vacuum the pool bottom each month.
